2024 Pierce County, ND Multi-Hazard Mitigation Survey
Pierce County, North Dakota, is updating its multi-hazard mitigation plan. A survey is being conducted as part of the planning process. Residents of Pierce County are asked to participate in the survey. The mitigation plan is updated every five years and is necessary to be eligible to apply for grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Survey results will be used to identify gaps in capabilities and develop mitigation projects for the plan.

The Prairie Village Museum was established in 1964 by the Geographical Center Historical Society. A majority of the items on display were donated or are on loan from families in and around Pierce County, North Dakota.
The collection includes buildings, artifacts, household items, clothing, buggies, automobiles, and farm machinery dating from the late 1880s to the present, with a focus on the turn of the century.
